My Doctor Told Me I Cannot Watch Game Of Thrones

ARE YOU A GAME OF THRONES FAN LIKE ME?

Do you look forward to 9pm every Sunday so you can watch the latest episode?

Then you will understand how ecstatic I was to meet most of the cast recently at the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere party at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA.
Such an awesome experience to hang out with the actors who play Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion and Jaime Lannister, Theon Greyjoy, and Arya and Sansa Stark.

During our chat, one thing kept popping up. They all noticed my unusual orange lense glasses. So I decided to tell them my story…

JAMES SWANWICK AT SOUL IN WONDER

Who’s this Man Behind the Orange Glasses?

I used to struggle with insomnia for years… My doctor suggested to cut all caffeine and eliminate all digital devices after 6pm. I was confused and frustrated. That is simply unrealistic, granted I can stop drinking coffee, but how on earth can I stop using my phone, computer or watching TV?

THAT CANNOT BE RIGHT, THERE MUST BE A WAY AROUND IT!

So I started researching. I found that indeed, blue light from electronics can block your melatonin production, which makes it harder to fall asleep and affects sleep quality.

So that got me thinking, how can I block the blue light and still enjoy Game of Thrones every Sunday?

Then it hit me, blue blocking glasses!!! Blocking the TV’s blue light with my glasses means I can still enjoy using my gadgets, and then fall asleep easily afterwards.

And best of all, it works like a charm! I stopped tossing and turning every night, and I wake up feeling fresh and energised. My skin looks better, I feel fitter and my mood swings and irritability are gone!

Alfie Allen, who plays Thoen Greyjoy, was so fascinated with Swannies that he got his pair straight away! He told me he loved the orange-lens and the science behind it.

If you stare at your screens at night-time (who doesn’t) and struggle to get enough sleep, I urge you to take care of yourself and start introducing sleep hygiene into your lifestyle. Wear Swannies FDA-registered Blue Blocking Glasses at least 1 hour before bed, and enjoy better sleep every time.

10 TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR SLEEP HYGIENE

P.S. If you’re one of the thousands of people who have experienced better sleep from wearing Swannies, I have a small request from you: I’d like you to send this article to a friend who you know loves Game of Thrones or struggles with their sleep!
